My Favorite Amazon Clothes for Summer

In case you wondered how lock down was going around here, lets just say I have been using retail therapy as means to keep going. The Amazon delivery guys and gals are now basically family. I can tell my husband is getting annoyed, but he seems to quickly forget since he knows that Amazon Prime is what gets me through the daily school work sessions with the boys. Plus, I get a rush when I am able to snag some Clorox wipes or toilet paper!

I should remind you of my usual disclaimer that I am definitely not someone that is fashionable. You can tell I am getting old when I care more about comfort. I am just sharing my experience with some items I purchased. This post will mainly focus on swimsuits, sandals, a couple dresses, and my favorite lock down outfit. Lets dive into the awkward photos!

Swimsuits

This swimsuit is the cutest. I absolutely love the design and colors! It hides my mama belly which is fantastic. This would be perfect if my husband and I were going away on vacation …..without the kids. However, since that will never happen I am not sure how often I will actually wear this for fear something might come out of place while running after my rug rats! It costs $23.99.

This is a good black bathing suit with a fun criss-cross feature in front. It gives it a nice detail so it isn’t just plain black and boring. It might give me some interesting tan lines though. I am guessing I will get a lot of use out of this one this summer. This one is on sale for $29.99.

This suit was a random purchase from a lightning deal. Surprisingly it is one of my new favorites! This is one that I can comfortably wear while chasing after the kids. This fits great in the caboose! This is currently priced at $26.99.

This is another suit where I fell in love with the design! The blue stripes and playful ruffles are so cute. It does dip low in the front to kick it up a notch! I got this one in a size medium because I have a long torso. However, there does seem to be a little extra room for me to grow into…..especially after all the snacks I have been eating in lock down! This was the most expensive at $36.99.

This bathing suit is a must! I bought this last year and it is still going strong. I wear it all the time. It is one of those suits that I can run after the kids in and not have to worry about anything falling out! Why does it look like I am about to fall over in this photo? Please offer any advice on taking selfies as I find it so very strange and not natural. This is normally $27.99 but does go on sale sometimes.

I had to save the best for last. If you know me, you know I love matching. This past year we went to Punta Cana with my husband’s family and it was amazing. My sister-in-law coordinated us all buying this suit and I couldn’t have been more excited. To see all the cousins in these suits made my heart melt. It actually fits great and I am obsessed that we can all match!

Unfortunately, this specific pattern is no longer in stock. However, there are still plenty of other matching options available such as these with many different styles or here are some more as well.

Sandals

I bought these sandals in animal print and white. They are easy to slip on and off and were a great price at $18.95!

Everyone needs a nude heel! They are so versatile and can go with almost anything. These were a great find and the price was right. These are currently on sale $36.75.

I had my eyes on these for a while but couldn’t find them anywhere. Then one day I lucked out and Amazon had them in stock. They also have them in nude which I also like. These are an investment at $79.99. They remind me of jelly shoes which I used to love!

These were not an Amazon find, but I thought they were worth mentioning. Again, these are like a jelly shoe material so they will be perfect for the pool! I found them on sale for $59 on the Tory Burch website. They only offered whole sizes. I am usually a size 7.5 but bought an 8. They are a bit big on me so if in between sizes you should probably size down.

Dresses

I originally bought this dress for Easter service but…..that obviously didn’t go as planned 😉 However, I am a fan of the colors and will still get use out of it. Most of my dresses are short so I wanted to add a longer more conservative one to the mix for church. There is a tie for around the waist, not sure what happened to it. The boys are probably using it to play tug-of-war. It is currently priced at $22.88.

This dress is extremely comfortable. For some reason, my youngest son made me wear this a few days during lock down and I didn’t mind. I will be able to get a lot of use out of this one! The price is $24.99 (on sale) and it comes in a variety of colors.

This was on sale and I thought I would take a chance. I usually can’t wear maxi dresses because I am short (5’3”). Luckily I was completely surprised to fall in love with this dress. It is a great length for me. It is nice and light-weight and will work great during the summer. It is currently on sale for $18.80.

Favorite!

OK, so this is currently my new favorite outfit. I think at one point during quarantine I had worn the joggers about 3 days in a row…YIKES! It is just so comfy and better than my Christmas PJs when I run into a neighbor while taking out the trash. Click here for the top which is $16.99 and here for the joggers at $23.99.
