Family Travel Adventures
I am a boring, old, working mom with poor grammar and 2 young boys. I suckered my amazing husband into marrying me and now he gets stuck going along with my crazy adventures and he is nothing but supportive.
I am no fashionista. As a matter of fact my kids are lucky if I am able to get a bra on before I drop them off at school. Sorry boys! So in case you haven’t figured it out yet, I try not to take life too seriously.
I should mention that we are not selling our house and possessions to jet off and travel all over the globe. We are budget conscious and take a couple planned vacations a year with random road trips mixed in whenever we can swing it. Did I mention those are my husband’s favorite?
I don’t like being stuck in the house with our kids too long. It often turns into a WWE wrestling match with the boys leaving a path of destruction in their wake. Due to this, whenever possible I try to find a quick weekend escape or adventure. I am constantly seeking experiences to make memories that will last a lifetime.
Maybe you will get some ideas of places to go or see from our experiences. Hopefully you can use some of our tricks on getting the most for your money. However, if nothing else I hope you can at least get a laugh!
